MARYLAND LANDLORD TENANT LAWS AND PROCESSES
MARYLAND LANDLORD TENANTLAWS AND PROCESSES

About This Site

Several times per week, we receive calls from Maryland tenants who believe they have been wrongfully evicted. While this office does not represent residential tenants, we believe that landlords should follow the rules for taking action against tenants in rent court, and tenants should be informed of their rights.

After learning that a 2012 study of rent court cases revealed that 17.5% of cases for that year were wrongly decided to the tenant’s detriment, we decided to publish this page as a resource for those seeking information about maneuvering Maryland’s rent court process.

This page is published by a law office, but we are not your lawyers. This information should not be relied upon as legal advice. Nothing here shall or is intended to take the place of consulting with an attorney regarding the particulars of your case. Our Resources and Information page has helpful links.
